Well ya’ll know how it is; fall in love, get married, buy a web domain, and have a blog competition. As you might have heard the stakes are high. We are far beyond bragging rights and first dibs on the ice cream. We are talking about a pair of boots and a very pricey useless electronic apparatus (probable a shaving cream warmer). everyone knows that this is just so you guys can shake a corporate-sponsored fist at dooce.com, you stay-at-home-moms-without-children! I shan’t pay for you to rot out your days in blogland while the rest of us sweat doing honest medical research to earn a buck! Or will I?

There’s nothing I like more than a competition. However, after reading all your entries which I found very amusing, what I’m really looking for is Grandma Hicks blog because my favorite comment by far was, and I quote, “I kept going back because I didn’t want them to think I stayed away because of skin color–theirs or mine, and they became good friends. I didn’t mention that I usually wor a wig. They went out of business, but it sure wasn’t my fault.”
