A revolutionary party
It gives me a little extra confidence to know that in a pinch Neil and I can come up with costumes for Susan B. Anthony & Emiliano Zapata exclusively from items in our closet. Every house needs a costume closet, and ours just happens to be inseparable from our normal one.

Our friend Ash turned 26 and had a birthday party with the theme of “reformers.” I have developed a recent obsession with the suffrage movement of the turn of the century so, of course, I whipped up a Susan B. costume & Neil went for the legendary Mexican reformer, Zapata.
It was great fun and involved a lot of akward white people freestyle rapping about the various characters… which is ALWAYS a good time.

We were also glad to see the revival of the Frida Khalo & Diego Rivera costume.
Happy Birthday Ash. Viva la revolucion siempre.

Man o man, am I glad to see Ashley Sanders back in Utah.
It was too boring without you, Ash!

And, BTW, I plan to vote for Ralph in hopes of Ash being made a cabinet member.
How about “Secretary of Revolutions.” ?!

HA HA! More like secretary of nation-wide dress up day! And I would of course make you my advisor, Donna! Deputy Dress-Up. My specialty will be unibrows and I will invade other people’s closets (countries) preemptively for them.

Neil - Sweet stache! That thing looks pretty good on you. You ought to think about growing one for real.
