Yet another successful Alice Water’s free-form apple tart

By , October 16, 2010 9:31 am

So I made Alice Water’s free-form apple tart again, except this time I was unable to eat it. I was on a crappy diet to loose some weight. From what I heard it was delicious, so good in fact, Kate sent the whole thing home with our guests so she wouldn’t eat all the leftovers for breakfast. If you have not tried making one before definitely give it a try. It is super simple and tastes amazing. Also, right now is the perfect time since apples are in season. You can search her recipe all over the web.

Neil, I’m impressed! That took a lot of restraint!!! And the tart looks beautiful.

Remember, this is only temporary – all the food will still exist at the end of the 3 weeks, promise!

Wow, beautiful. I’m so impressed. I’ve never made a pie crust that didn’t taste like cardboard, and, believe me, I’ve tried. One of these days, when I can stand for more than ten minutes again…

By the way, I feel you. I forsee a crappy diet in my future, too.
