DO NOT EAT HERE!
If you’re ever driving from Las Vegas to LA or San Diego and need to eat something at Baker, CA. What ever you do, DON’T EAT AT THE MAD GREEK. We got suckered in on our way down to San Diego because of the 4,000 billboards between Las Vegas and Baker advertising the place. It was very expensive and the grossest Greek food I’ve ever eaten.

Kate,
Baker is a horrible place. There is NO WHERE to eat! Plus it is BLAZING hot there. Richard and I avoided the Mad Greek because there was a fake statue of the David in the front with a part of his anatomy being very perky. Yes, that was enough for me to drive on by.

I concur. After ordering through their drive through we got about 2 or 3 exits down the road before we discovered they forgot part of our order. Grrrrrrrrr.
And in going back to recover our missing mess, we noticed it’s about 8,000 degrees inside the restaurant too.
Anyway, hope you had fun at ComicCon.

Seems every part of the country has some class of a tacky “tourist trap” as probably overdoes it on the billboards.
Classic examples here in the Midwest: Wall Drug Store in Wall, South Dakota and practically anything and everything of importance in Wisconsin Dells.
