In an rare dive back into my masochistic (in the “a taste for suffering” definition) footwear days (days before I was completely and exclusively dedicated to one shoe company), I bought these little babies for myself for Christmas.

I wore them on New Year’s Eve… for as long as I could physically stand it. Neil basically had to give me a piggy-back ride back to the car. Curse you scoliosis, curse you!

And, as you might imagine, despite how ultra-glorious they are, they have been collecting dust under my bed since. I looked at them today and thought, “they are so amazing, it may have been worth it just to wear them that once.”

Wish I had had these babies back in December 2006. Then they could have gotten a whole 45 minutes more air-time. In place of these:
