Things you can see when you come home from the movies
By Neil Ransom | August 29, 2008
So Kate and I went to a movie, American Teens, and when we returned we found on the underside of the bed loft. It is a House Centipede - Scutigera coleoptrata, and according to the online guide they are great to have around the house because they eat loads of other bugs, but…”because of their alarming appearance, frightening speed, and painful bite, few homeowners are willing to share a home with them.” Duh! Anyway as you go to sleep tonight just remember there are things like this crawling around trying to steal your freedoms.

That is the sickest thing I’ve ever seen. I think I would faint if that was in my bedroom.

wow, that is really, really intense. did you squish it or just return it to its outdoor home? i would think it would make a big squish.
thats the problem with beautiful places; the bugs and the hippies always find them.

I did squish it with a hammer. It made a big mess that included moving legs stuck to the wood. I hope I don’t see any more of these bugs in my bed.

Always wondered what those things were. Had them all over my apartment in Provo. They really gave me the heeby jeebies.
