A conversation with Neil this morn…
Me: I need to get my hair cut.
Neil: Why?
Me: To make it look nice.
Neil: How?
Me: Trim it, cut layers.
Neil: What are layers?
Me: You know, cut the front part shorter.
Neil: Like a Darth Vader helmet??
Me: Precisely.
This exchange reminded me of a conversation my mom had with my dad after getting a new hairstyle after having had the previous one for ten+ years. He told her it was much better than the old one… and said, “yeah that last one looked like a Darth Vader helmet.”

I would also like to note for the record that Neil looked at this post and said, “you see… that helmet IS what layers look like!” *sigh* will they ever learn?
Kate…those Ransom boys. As a result of the post partum hair loss, I want to cut my hair. When I showed Pete an example pic, guess what he said? “No. That’s a lesbean haircut.” Yes, I did throw a FIT.
