We’ve Made it!

Kate and I pulled into our new apartment around 1 this afternoon. After a quick unload of the car I was off to find food while we waited for the landlord to come over for the lease signing and the key handover. The lease signing was painless and the manager, Dave, told Kate she could paint an accent wall (now Kate’s #1 priority). We did some important work (signed up for the Internet) and went to Ikea for some dishware and closet ideas. Now we are in the basement of the University of San Diego’s student center mooching Internet. I am really excited for this move. I think California is just what the doctor order and I think we are going to have some great opportunities…i.e. a bike path leads straight from our apartment to Ocean Beach!

We’re glad you guys made it safely down there but we are sad that you are gone now and lost to the sun and surf forever! We are very jealous! Enjoy every minute of your adventure and give us a call some time!

Yay you made it! I am so jealous..bike path right to the beach!? Man. That is quite awesome. We definitely need to come visit soon.

i’ll bet california is indeed just what the doctor ordered. it’s almost painful to think of boardwalk bike rides, ocean breezes and trips to ikea when i am stuck here in this desert of doom. i am so happy for you guys- it seems like everything worked out for the very best. buena suerte and enjoy!

You should be carefull, your description will produce too many visitors! Lindsay and I love to go to San Diego. Next time we come, we will treat you at our favorite brunch spot. I would tell you over the internet, but then everyone will know about it and it is hard enough to get a table as it is! Have a great adventure! Love, Aunt Sandy
